Purdue Columbus Lego Robotics Summer Camp 2019
The Lego Robotics Summer Camp, sponsored by Purdue University Polytechnic Institute Columbus, is a fun, hands-on learning experience designed for girls and boys ages 9 to 14. The camp will engage participants in exploring science, technology, engineering, and math concepts. Working in small teams, the campers are provided with LEGOTM products to explore robotics. These unique components – which include modular sensors, motors, and electromechanical parts are used to build robots that are controlled by a programmable LEGOTM “Brick” computer. The camp teaches children the basic concepts about how real-life mechanical systems operate while inspiring them to use their imaginations and build mechanical robots of their own creation!
