Predictable Implant Dentistry: Planning to Executing

This course will include the basics of implant placement and restoration to streamline and minimize appointment time and lengths for smooth integration of implant dentistry into your practice.This day and a half program includes hands on placement of implants in a dry mandible, review of suturing, review of prosthetic components, and over the shoulder visualization of implant placement by Dr. Reese. Allowing you the opportunity to be familiar and competent in routine implant placement utilizing the Implant Direct line of implants. This course is a precursor that will provide attendees the opportunity to place implants on their own patients in Dr. Reese’s practice under his mentorship and guidance. Key Points• Steps to expedite surgery and prosthetic completion• Anatomy and Pharmacology related to implant surgery• Surgical stint fabrication done in your office• Treatment planning for uneventful outcomes• Preferred sites for initial placement surgeries• Addressing complications Dr. Ted Reese graduated with distinction from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1984. He maintains a full time, comprehensive care dental practice in Indianapolis. He has been placing and restoring implants since 1985. A Fellow of the Midwest Implant Institute where he has also served as President, he is a Fellow of the AAID, and Diplomate, American Board of Oral Implantology, and has Mastership status with the AGD. In addition to being passionateabout providing excellent dental care, he and his wife are board certified naturopathic physicians. His education and experience is extensive and varied. His objective is to provide and teach reliable and repeatable solutions to everyday challenges for the nonspecialized, expanded care dentist. The starting point in learning this discipline is to realize that Implant Dentistry is a Prosthetic discipline with a surgical component.   General concepts on this topic will be taught utilizing Implant Direct products and solutions.
