Fresh Mozzarella and Burrata Making Class

In our Fresh Mozzarella and Burrata Class, you will spend 3 hours learning about cheese, making cheese and eating cheese!  Arrive early to snack on Tulip Tree treats with our custom cheese and charcuterie board. You can’t learn on an empty stomach!   Begin your journey with a little dairy science, familiarizing yourself with the ins and outs of turning milk into cheese. Starting with our fresh pasteurized milk, you and your small group of 3-4 people will work together to make a batch of fresh mozzarella curd. Then, you learn the art of stretching fresh mozzarella transforming the mozzarella curd into a delicate layered ball of pasta filata cheese. You will then take it to the next level, learning the careful transformation of mozzarella into a cream filled ball of burrata.  Best of all, you get to take the mozzarella and burrata home with expert tips about how to store and use it.  Also, it’s a BYOB (bring your own beverage of choice).  10% discount on all cheese & butter sales during the class! Minimum class size:  12
