Archaeology Weekend, Mounds State Park

Want to learn more about the past? How do we really know how old things are? Come to Mounds State Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday September 29 and 30 to learn more about amazing archaeology!  Meet folks from the DNR's Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology, Ball State University and the Upper White River Archeological Society who will have have artifacts and stories to share. Bring any artifacts you'd like to have identified. There will also be hands-on activities for kids on Saturday including digging for arrowheads, cookie excavations, crafts, atl atl throwing and more!
